I must say, even though I love minimalism, clean lines and neutrals… I’m thoroughly enjoying playing around with this season’s romantic feel, warm color palette and breezy, relaxed silhouettes. I bought this H&M burgundy maxi dress recently while shopping in Amsterdam. I didn’t have much time to shop but after a swift scan of the third floor of the flagship in Dam Square, I found the very last one and quickly snatched it into my hand. I think it’s perfect for the weekend, whether I’ll be in the city or at the beach… I could make a great bikini cover-up! For this look, I thought the color of the dress is so rich, that it would make a great contrasting background for pastel accents like the pale sage green Bottega bag I styled it with, or the nude flats.
