DTLA in Uterqüe Tassel Cropped Jeans

I was recently away from home for two blog-related trips. Now that I’m back, I’ve realized I have travel withdrawal –which I’m declaring a real condition. I’m already getting anxious about where to go next, hehe! But first I must take care of my piggy bank, if you know what I mean! So back to work, work, work, work, work!

Anyway, I’m not posting these chronologically because I have many photos from Barcelona to go trough and edit. That was the first trip and I have yet to open up the box of pandora that is my camera’s memory card. The second said blogging trip was to Los Angeles for the Create & Cultivate conference where I stayed –for the most part– at my friend Maria’s house. She’s one of my best friends and she moved to Los Angeles a few years ago, so I miss her terribly! The conference only lasted for a day but I decided to spend an entire week in LA so I could get in some QT with her. On one of the days we spent together, we visited Downtown LA with the intention of going to the Broad Museum, but there was a huge line and apparently tickets are sold out for months and months to come. I’ll have to add that to my list of things to do in LA during my next trip!

So instead, we visited a few shops around DTLA and shot some quick photos of my outfit. To tell you the truth, I was a bit jet lagged + hungover so I really wasn’t planning on shooting this outfit, but I actually don’t mind my face situation too much so I’m sharing these anyway! The shirt, hat and sneakers I bought recently at Zara in Panama, and the jeans are a current obsession of mine. I got them in Barcelona at Uterqüe, which is my new favourite store in the whole wide world. It’s pretty much up there with COS and & Other Stories. I had no idea it was also part of the Inditex empire, until recently when I was checking the label of these jeans for cleaning instructions and there it was: “Inditex, S.A.”! Unfortunately, they have no online shopping available for the United States, which usually works for me here in Panama. And I think they have no locations in North or South America, so it’s not exactly accessible. I don’t go to Europe as often as I’d like. But that just meant I had an excuse to rationalize spending an obscene amount of money at the Uterqüe in Passeig de Gracia, hehe! So get ready for a lot of Uterqüe –and a lot of tassels– in the next few days. Don’t judge.

I hope you like this and my upcoming outfits, I’m really excited about them.
