And it’s all thanks to YOU! Thank you SO much, from the bottom of my heart, for voting for me! It was such a surreal moment, to hear Leandra utter the words “and the winner is A Constellation!”… I mean, specially coming from her; someone whom I’ve admired and followed for such a long time. Seriously, thank you for making this dream come true!
The awards ceremony was so much fun! I was fortunate enough to experience it in the company of my husband José, my best friend (and official NYFW photographer) María, and my colleagues and friends from Latin America; Stef, Atenas, Alexa, Carolina, and Soraya. They were cheering me on as loud as Latinos can get—which is very, very loud! I was also so happy to have my chloédigital team there (who were also nominated!), and of course, my fellow nominees, who are just so talented, kind and beautiful. And to be in that room with so many amazing people that have inspired me in so many ways, I really felt like I was floating even before I won the award for Breakthrough Fashion Blogger of the Year! But man, was I elated when I won! I’ve never used that word in my life, haha! Elated. There’s no better way to describe it.
Thanks again Leandra and the Man Repeller team, Bloglovin’ and H&M for selecting me as a nominee. This wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for the opportunity you gave me to literally “break through”.
