It was my third time in London… So I guess it’s true what they say! Third time’s the charm! I finally go to stay at the Ace Hotel in Shoreditch, and let me tell you: It did not disappoint! I loved the industrial, utilitarian details paired with retro and modern furniture. Every single item is painstakingly designed and yet somehow I still felt an effortless, hip vibe that is very hard to come by. The service was also impeccable. Coincidentally, the first person to greet me at the door was a Panamanian expat from Bocas Del Toro! I mean, talk about a home away from home. I was also really blown away by the different crowds that flock to the lobby by day and by night. It’s all business and coffee until happy hour comes along, when the Ace lives up to its nightlife hot spot reputation and you can barely squeeze by to reach the elevators. It’s safe to say, I look forward to checking off more Atelier Ace hotels from my list!
