If you’re not there for the skying, and you’re not much of a country gal or guy, I’d say Vermont is one of those places you can check off your list in under a week. We arrived late one evening, spent the whole next day driving around doing some sightseeing, and left the next morning for Maine. Below are some of the highlights of that day we spent in the Green Mountain State –Ben & Jerry’s factory tour; visiting my dad’s alma mater, St. Michael’s College; and finishing off the day in Burlington, home of the famous Church Street where you can take in some beautiful views of lake Champlain.
