I so love NYFW presentations! It always gives designers the opportunity to set the mood, choose interesting locales and provide show-goers with much needed alcohol while showing us what’s in store for next season. Which is why I’m very glad Polo Ralph Lauren hosted another presentation party this season! The last one I attended was their awesome Central Park 4D event for Spring 15. And even though the Spring 2016 presentation wasn’t a show of advanced technology and logistics like that one, this time it was much more enjoyable. First, the clothes where actually there, worn by real models in broad daylight; and second, the presentation was held on an end of summer afternoon in the roof top of the McKittrick hotel with breathtaking views and the perfect cocktails to go with it.
As for the collection; I loved all the different suit iterations. I’m a sucker for menswear inspired womenswear! My favorite was the stripe suit with floral shirt. It’s sort of a Van Gogh inspired look!
