This is one of my favorite dresses ever, I bought it years ago at H&M. I don’t even remember if I bought it in New York or elsewhere, but it’s got to be more than 5 years old for sure. Even though I’ve cleaned out my closet many times since the last time I wore it, I never felt a desire to toss it out. It’s timeless, simple and a little girly. It can be easily dressed up or down, so it’s really a keeper. I thought it would be the perfect thing to wear to Coach’s Summer at The High Line party last month—and I didn’t even know it would be such a floral party! My Coach studded denim jacket was the perfect thing to both keep me warm and add an element of edge to the dress. I actually wanted to wear this look with my Zara suede mules but I don’t know if you’ve heard it from a friend who owns them or tried them on yourself; after a few hours walking in them, they really start to dig into my toes. I just couldn’t handle them anymore so I went with my favorite boots of the moment—my lovely white leather Uterqüe ankle boots with the most delicious gold metal heel. Coach also gave me this beautiful Rogue bag that was just heaven-sent. It goes with everything! Specially everything I packed for this trip!
I’ll be posting photos of the party very soon!
Thanks for reading.
