So, the story behind this outfit is kind of an odd/funny one. Believe it or not, I was running out of things to wear when I was in New York back in September for Fashion Week, and I knew these white flared jeans could work with this amazing striped open back blouse, but I didn’t really have any shoes to go with the look. I tried it on with all the shoes I packed, but unfortunately (and fortunately, but in another way) I packed the exact amount of shoes I needed, and planned all but this outfit around the reduced pairs I took. I always overpack in the footwear department, and since shoes can sometimes weigh a lot, I decided this time I would be smart about them. But none of the shoes I took convinced me 100% when I tried them on in front of the mirror with the jeans and shirt, but I resolved to wear my trusty Uterqüe white boots anyway. Once I took these photos and saw how well the boots photographed with everything, I was in love with the ensemble and couldn’t wait to post it here to share with all of you. Like I said before, sometimes it takes me a while to adjust to a look, specially if it’s a little experimental. Still, it’s always good to try new things—and to pack smart!
