Gingham Pants and White Cowboy Boots

I think we can blame Raf Simmon’s Calvin Klein for the resurgence of cowboy style boots we’ve seen this year. Although his metal toe version is exponentially cooler than my Zara lookalikes, I have to say I’m pretty happy with my purchase. I’ve been wearing them a lot this summer and they just add an instant element of cool to anything! Specially dresses. But here I am on this occasion wearing them with a pair of gingham pants I got from Alpha & Omega recently, and an old H&M shirt from one of their Studio collections. I just love how simple, monochrome and “normal” everything is and then—boom! White cowboy boots! Still within the color scheme but decidedly unexpected. Can’t wait to experiment with these come Fall.
