Hello, Spring

Panama only has two seasons; rainy and dry—or “winter” and summer, respectively. In terms of fashion, Spring Summer collections are the most relevant for us down here in the tropics. We can’t exactly keep up with Fall Winter trends, so from October until almost April I’m left with some serious sartorial FOMO each time I browse through my Instagram feed. Now’s the time I can finally partake in the collective celebration of fashion, with everyone eager to put away their coats and boots, and break out their sandals and straw bags. I’m really excited about straw bags! This one here is from Spanish label Purificación García. As for my sandals, I’m really, really excited about them too. They’re by Maryam Nassir Zadeh and I got them at Bruni, a newly opened accessories boutique in Panama that has the most beautifully curated selection of shoes, jewelry, bags and watches. They’re also the first store in Panama to carry cult magazines such as Kinfolk, Gather and The Travel Almanac. Plus, I did all of their branding and the owners designed the space and furniture themselves. It’s been a dream to work together with them and I can’t wait to show you more!
