Juan & Amanda’s Guatemala City Home

On a recent trip to a wedding in Antigua, Guatemala; José and I spent an afternoon in Guatemala City with friends; including the very talented Juan and Amanda of Ambush Studio. We first stopped by their home/workspace which, as you can see, is amazing! I went a little nuts taking photos. There’s something so special about a creative person’s home, don’t you think? Specially if it’s also where they work, it has to be the perfect balance between surrounding yourself with inspiration and tranquility –or chaos, depending on your style. In Juan and Amanda’s case, they’re graphic designers (Juan is also a photographer) so they are more on the neat –ahem, OCD– side, as most designers are. I should know!

Also, the light is magical in Guate…

I’m working on posting more about Interior Design and Art so I hope you enjoy this and similar upcoming posts! Please tell me in the comments what you think and if there’re any other categories you’d like me to post more of.

xoxo
